While studying abroad in Nagoya, Moni fell deeply in love with the local curry. The delicious taste made her decided to bring it back to Taiwan to share with more people. Hence in 2006 she founded Moni Curry in Linsen North Road, the "Broadway" in Taipei City. The way to entrepreneurship was not smooth. Moni witnessed the ups and downs of Taiwan's catering industry. Relocated the business several times. Regardless where it had landed, Moni always adheres to the spirit of Japanese craftsmenship, focuses on quality, and strives to bring customers the purest taste enjoyment in every dish of curry. In this journey, Moni also experienced the impact of the epidemic and the rising cost of raw materials and wages. Many times were we at the verge of giving up due to losses, but always found strength and perseverance from the support of customers and the love for curry. Moni Loves Curry is not only a restaurant, but also a story about love and persistence. Every bowl of curry contains Moni's passion for gourmet food and dedication to quality. This spirit will passed on to every corner of Taiwan.
